Even if I happen to charge for karate tuition, no matter how much money it might give me, I'll never sell it as a cheap curiosity. Karate is not a trivial matter. It is a deep and deadly martial art.

🇬🇧 Here's another carefully researched application using the principles of hontou bunkai 本当分解 (real bunkai) that @samirberardo developed throughout the years -- this time for Seiyunchin kata. The groin strike seen here is a very common theme in all Okinawan karate. One might argue that the kata shows the attack on a higher level than the groin, but this heightening of the level of groin strikes is a common occurrence, too -- however, we can discover the truth through comparative analysis of several versions of the same kata.Together with his application photo, Samir is using here pictures of books by Kenwa Mabuni and Ei'Ichi Miyazato.
